Great compact unit and fantastic price !!!
At the time of purchase, I was kind of worried about the small unit for the jobs I have it. When it arrived it looked impressive,design wise light didn't think it will help me with my chore. I had 150 Lbs. of elk to be ground. Well my friends share the same opinion but we put that little devil to work. Well how wrong were we, the unit performed with superior quality. We ground the meat twice and it
took us little less than 2 1/2 hrs.without any problems.We were all in the stage of shock and could not belief that such of small unit did such of good job and the price of the unit being so low that
is unthinkable.Highly recommend this grinder to all the hunters and small restaurants. Bravo to MTD Outlet for designing excellent grinder and Bravo to Amazon.com to carry great product.

MTN 3.4 hp Meat Grinder
I'm a victim of the "Pink Slime" media coverage. I've always had a serious problem with the little 'things' found in my grocery store produced ground beef such as bone chips that can crack a tooth, or funny little tubular shaped things. Pink Slime tipped my scale. I decided to control the issue and start buying my beef in solid shape and grind it myself. I shopped Amazon and compared many products. I ultimately purchased the MTN grinder based on its HP. It arrived quickly. It's very easy to use, it's pretty and its HP gets the job done in moments. I'm very pleased with this purchase. One word of caution to people who chose to grind their own meat... you must scrupulously clean all parts of any grinder after use. I also clean mine again before use even though I've stored it in a clean environment.
Great little Grinder
Great little grinder, I ground over 20 Lbs of pork and 10 Lbs of Beef in very little time, I was afraid I might have to cut the pieces very small but it took pieces as big as 2.5x 8 inches big. very impressed for the price.
