iRobot R3 500 Series Replacement Flexible Beater Brush, Pack of 3

fits like original
I had noticed that my original flexible beater was looking slightly curved along its length. The I-bot seemed to be making more "thumping" sounds as it went about it's course. As it turned out, there was not much difference between new & original beater so I decided it is just a wear factor on the carpet itself. However, the ends of beater do wear due to movement in the power driven socket it fits into, so replacement will be a factor at some time. Product fits perfectly.

Low qaulity or no basic check on product
Two of the brushes are incorrect size and had bad/incorrect molding size for socket fitting. These extra plastic molding are visible to any one, wonder supplier/packager also don't bother to check. Low quality product.

To Replace or Not to Replace
Glad I replaced this part. Honestly, the old one didn't look that bad but it had been running every day for at least a six months on the first beater and Roomba wasn't picking up like it used to. Hair had cut into the notches despite periodic cleaning but overall the first beater looked ok. Now when I look back, Roomba really hadn't been picking things up all that well around the apartment and it was really worse than I tried to reason out in my head. If you are on the fence about this one, just go for it.
