not genuine Hoover?!!
when i got these they were in a clear plastic bag. Nothing identifies it as a product made by Hoover. I compared it to the one remaining bag that I still had that I purchased (through Amazon also) which was a genuine Hoover Platinum Hepa canister bag (and it came 3 to a box, with the logo of Hoover on the box) -- the new ones I had ordered were definitely much thinner, and the bags themselves do not have any print of them that identifies them as Hoover Hepa bags (the real Hoover bag has that printed info). I'd say these are imitations. They work, but because they are thin and flimsy I don't think they trap the micro-dust as well as a genuine hepa filter bag does.
Can't beat a bag system
I bought these for our Hoover canister and they have worked out fantastic. I don't know how long these 8 bags will last me but it will be some time. They are easy to exchange and do a great job of keeping the dirt in.
Part of vacuun bag shipment was missing
When my order came, it was missing 3 of the Hoover Platinum upright vacuum bags, and 4 of the cannister Hoover bags. I sent an e-mail to the distributor in the evening. In the morning, there was a return e-mail with a phone number for me to call so that the company could send the right amount that was missing. Upon calling, I found the spokesperson to be a genuine, caring person who immediately shipped out the remainder of my order. Will I be reordering from them? Most definitely!!!!
