Not much to say. It sits there, it works, it doesn't have holes in it like the old one. Great
Plastic composition issue?
This is the third basket in five years. I thought originally it was becuase of how we loaded the silverware but upon inspection, the plastic "erodes" from the bottom up. Small pieces will break off and get caught in your food particle grinder, causing no damage other than to your ears (loud screaching). I now find it best to just replace the basket sooner rather than do surgery on my kitchenaide to remove the broken bits from the "food mill". As usual no issues from Amazon.
exactly what we needed.
This was the exact part we needed for our dishwasher.it is sturdy and well made. It fit the dishwasher perfectly.
