Nice Machine
I bought this for a couple of reasons. One, you can turn it on and walk away. Two, there is a lot of room where the bowl goes. Three it had a party kit with it. It doesn't come with ice pucks like some of the machines so it shaves the ice slightly course but it does it fast. It is not very loud like others have said. It does leave the last few ice cubes in the hopper unshaved. I fixed this problem by leaving an empty bowl under the hopper to let them melt in so I don't ever have to disassemble it. Basically it is a no frills ice shaver that shoots out a bowl of ice in about 90 seconds.
The blade is adjustable to the point it will shave the ice much finer but it takes a lot longer and there are still a few course pieces in it...but it is much finer...I just don't like waiting. Some of the reviews I have read about other machines say that you have to hold a button or something while they shave...don't care for that much but I am considering another machine with the ice...
Snow cone maker
I purchased this as a gift for my 12- year old niece. It was the greatest gift because it has everything needed to start making snow cones right away! The product shipped quickly and was as described.

This is such a great product. I bought it for my nephew that used to live in Hawaii. He is only 5 years old. This is such a great product! it tastes just like the shave ice in Hawaii. It is also very easy for my nephew to do. It takes about one minute to have a shave ice. We have not experienced any problems!
