LG Electronics 6501KW2002A Washing Machine Rotor Position Sensor Assembly

Simple sensor fixed my LG washer problems + instructions
Replacing this sensor fixed my LG front load washer. I tried to wash a heavy load and got the dreaded LE error. This has happened before, and before it only took removing the drenched clothing, draining the tub, waiting awhile, and it started working again. Not so lucky this time. The LE error went away, but the tub would only turn in one direction a couple of inches before stopping suddenly. It didn't even attempt to turn the other direction. Then, you could hear the motor begin to whine.

The fix was simple; there are instructional videos online. You'll need a ratcheting wrench, metric sockets, and a philips head screwdriver.

Instructions:
- *Unplug the washer*.
- Open up the back panel, crack the center bolt and remove it by putting the wrench on it, spin the rotor to the right, and then smack the wrench to the left with your hand.
- Wiggle the rotor to get it off. (It's held on by big magnets so it takes a little effort)
- Remove...

GREAT ITEM SIMPLE FIX
I found the info online how to do the repair even had a stripped thread on one of the female part of the actual housing of the washer and I was able to still install the senser. Not only did the error code go away but so did 2 other issues A++++++

Great purchase
I used this on a GE Harmony washing machine. The washing machine would not spin and would error saying "motor not rotating properly"... Was easy to install and the washing machine works perfectly now.
