Won't buy any other!
Always used the Miele as it performed well but never thought to look for an alternative. With the increased cost I went to the Filtrete by 3M and did not like the stiff plastic inlet fitting. It leaked and there was a lot of dust inside the filter compartment. The closure fitting would not close completely when removing and disposing of the bag. More dust. Am now using the Envirocare at a very substantial savings and have found they are every bit as good as the Miele. The inlet fitting is not plastic but cardboard but works very well. Not a speck of dirt inside the filter compartment. Actually, if memory still serves me well the original Miele were cardboard. The envirocare is the only bag that I will buy. Great Alternative to Miele Branded or cheap Filtrete bags
These bags fit nicely into the Miele Canister. There is no plastic used, only cardboard, and the inventive "Enviro-Closure" is awesome at preventing dirt spilling out on bag changes.
Pleased with the quality
We have been using the Miele brand bags for several years but as the price continues to increase and the quantity in the box decreased decided to give these bags a try. We are very pleased; the bag itself is good quality, the collar is cardboard instead of plastic.
Update 2012: the most recent shipment was not the EnviroCare brand, even though that is what the photo showed, but DVC brand. The bag stated it came with 2 different filters but none were inside. The EnviroCare brand seems to be of slightly higher quality.
