Black & Decker ORB4810 Orb Hand Vac, Blue

Wonderfully cute, small and quiet, yet actually works
This tiny vac only arrived this morning, but since there are no other reviews yet, I can report that it:
1 looks great on the kitchen counter - almost like a high-tech snail (with the duster attachment as the head)
2 is tiny, about the size and shape of a softball.
3 is quiet, almost silent compared to the larger Black and Decker hand vac my son's family uses
4 is easy to use: just fold out the handle and spout and hit the power button to start, hit a button on top to fold up, and drop it on its tiny flat charging base to charge. To empty dirt, just pull up the dirt cover and empty it.
I'll update this in a few weeks, after we've put it to lasting use, but it's absolutely everything we hoped it would be so far.
Highly recommended!

Update:
1 There's no need to fold the Orb for storage, unless you want to for best appearance or to save counter space. Otherwise, just plop it on the charging plate with handle still extended and dust brush...

Black and Decker Orb Vac
Nicely designed vac. Creates good suction, after charging will run 8 minutes plus. No need to store it away in a closet; due to its attractive design it looks fine sitting on a counter or desk.

Disappointed
I don't get the good reviews for this product. The nozzle is difficult to get into corners or other small spaces, both because of it's size and the angle. It has acceptable power, but nothing to brag about. It is not all that easy to clean -- when you take the filter out to dump the gunk, you have to shake the cleaner and maneuver it into all different positions because the dirt collects in the rim of the bowl. And it's quite noisy for such a little thing. I regret this purchase.
